8th March: Neighbourhod Plan is finally ready for consultation! Official consultation starts on Monday 14th March but you can already now find it on this website, under the NP Plan heading. Every household will get a hard copy and we would like to hear your views, irrsepective if you agree or disagree! A form is attached or just send in your comments to the email email@example.com
11th February: Neighbourhood Plan is ready and we plan to start consultation in the beginning of March. We will hand deliver a hardcopy of the plan to all households and hold an Open Forum at Hoopers Field in the evening of 23rd march. Once consultation starts, you will find the NP plan under the tab NP Plan.
17th January: All changes completed and submitted to our editor. Once the Plan is updated, we can agree on dates for consultation - nearly there!
7th January 2016: Meeting held with Josh Ashwin and Phil Smith from SBC attending. We went through all comments received and agreed what changes should be done.
23rd December: We have received feedback on our SEA and the draft Neighbourhood Plan from SBC. Very little comments on SEA however a lot of fine tuning needed on our Plan
6th November 2015: As part of a Neighbourhood Plan you also have to do a Strategic Environment Assessment (SEA). This is now done and has gone out on consultation to Natural England, Environment Agency and Historic England to get their feedback. The document will be published together with the proposed Neighbourhood Plan when consultation within Wanborough starts.
30th October 2015: Our Plan is ready and in editing mode. Once all editing is don we are able to start our consultation which should be within a month!
27th May 2015: During April & May we have reviewed all proposed developments and all previous Schlaa sites according to a set of criteria largely based on Swindon Borough Council criteria. Today we had a meeting with Phil Smith from SBC and he fed back to us on our structure of the plan and the evidence we have built up. We are busy writing the plan and hope to have a draft plan ready this summer.
30th March 2015: The adoption of Swindon Borough Council Local Plan was formally adopted on 26th March 2015. Click on below links to get more information.
2nd March 2015: 11 Development proposals have been handed into the Neighbourhood Plan team by end of February 2015. These proposals (approved or not approved) will form part of the Plan that will go towards consultation later on this year.
25th February 2015: In NP team meeting yesterday we agreed the Framework for the Plan. Now we need to write the plan based on all input and consultations we have done.
3rd February 2015: 26 Business and Land owners attended the Neighbourhood Plan open forum on 2nd February in the Village Hall. Gary Sumner (PC Chair) presented attached PDF file followed by a Q&A session. Due date is end of February to register an interest of any potential new use of land/development into the Wanborough Neigbourhood Plan.
22 January 2015: Article in Swindon Advertiser yesterday, calling for Land & Business owners to attend a meeting on Monday 2nd February.
12 January 2015: Happy New Year to everyone. The results from the questionnaire can now be found on the Consultations page. It was also confirmed in the Neighbourhood Plan team meeting that the Land & Business owner meeting will take place Monday 2nd February in Village Hall at 7.30pm.

15 November 2014: Online questionnaire is now live. It will be open until 15 December.
24 October 2014: Team meeting held yesterday. Questionnaire 99% complete and decision made to launch it latest 15 November with completed questionnaires handed in by 15 December.
4 September 2014: All feedback from July 7 reviewed in yesterday's team meeting and a preliminary date set for our Questionnaire (1st November)
11 July 2014: More than 100 people turned out to our first consultation meeting on Monday 7th July to discuss the village's future.
